IGN did up a review for PsychoToxic and here is a snip from the article:The only thing that will keep you on your toes is how incredibly fast an enemy will draw a bead on you when you begin firing from medium to close range. Me, if I was in their shoes, the first thing I would do is flinch, then hit the ground while I tried to figure out where the shots were coming from. On the other hand, their shoot-from-the-hip rabidness is about the only thing that keeps things mildly interesting. Well that certainly sounds bad. Go ahead and read the rest of that review.

Over on the Dungeon Lords site they added a new area dedicated to the various playable races in the game which includes humans, elves, dwarves, urgoths, wylvans, zaurs, and thralls.Fairly smart and nimble, Wylvans are a wolf-like humanoid race that roam the sprawling lands of Dungeon Lords. While they are not as durable as the other races, their natural quickness rivals that of Thralls. Also note that there's anouther race that has as of yet to be revealed. Have a look at the race section of the site.

Gameplay Monthly has an interview posted up with Ashley Cheng of Bethesda on The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Here is a clip:We’ve gone through three iterations of combat and we’re still not done. We’ll start over and do a fourth iteration if we have to. We really are striving to get the kinetic energy of guys bashing each other with swords down. It’s not easy and it required us to re-prioritize our schedule so that we could spend more time and resources on combat. Basically, its playing it, tweaking it, playing it, tweaking it – and endless cycle that will continue up until we ship the game, I’m sure. Check out that interview.

Game Over has a review up for Project: Snowblind and here is a small piece of what they have to say about it: Snowblind takes place in a politically unstable Hong Kong in 2065. A radical terrorist group calling itself The Republic has seized control of the country. Not only have they started trying to destroy any opposition to their rule, they’ve threatened to detonate a massive EMP bomb. While it might not seem like a dangerous weapon, launching it into a rival country would send it back to the Stone Age. Attempting to halt this faction, the Liberty Coalition Army is dispatched to the region to eliminate any and all threats to global safety. Read that Project: Snowblind review.

IGN geared up a new review for Mortyr II and here's a wee bit of text from the article.Guys with MP40s will kneel down and spray, forcing you to find cover, burst fire, and crawl your way through most of each area just so you can keep your head down. It's aggravating more than challenging, and they also take a lot more damage than the long list of WWII shooters has gotten us used to. Expect to unload half a magazine of MP40 ammo before the SOB finally dies. Have a read from the complete Mortyr II review.

InXile is currently working to improve the game for the PC version. Here is a clip from the preview:Should you be sent on a quest and not complete it in the manner expected it simply changes the direction of the story. This gives the game some really wonderful replayability as you can go back and see where the story leads should you look behind curtain "b" instead of "a" (or accidentally kill the person you're supposed to be escorting). Not very often, however due to a traipse around several gaming sites I ended up on Voodoo Extreme and noticed that they posted an article that is called Duke Nukem Forever Nuggets, which is some stuff that George Broussard posted on the 3D Realms forums, all of which concerns Duke Nukem Forever. Here's a clip:So, you say that DNF's developing time takes so long because of thier graphics, not the insane amount of interactivity..?!
George Broussard: In a nutshell...yes. Also we're a pretty small team by today's standards, at about 28 people. We're still hiring people and ramping up some more. For the rest of the info check out Duke Nukem Forever Nuggets.

Over on Gamers Info they have a review set up for Kohan II: Kings of War, the RTS from Timegate Studios.Combat is controlled through your officers and heroes. Your heroes can be removed from one unit and added to another depending on your needs. What I liked very much was that it made it easier to control the troops since the symbol above the officer indicates what type of troop it is, and by clicking the symbol brings up the formation key for and shows all the stats for the unit as a whole. Another nice thing is the ability to make up your own units depending on what resources you have. Check out that review.

Lately I've been seeking out a good SP based RPG that isn't strategy or online to look forward to. So that's how I found a game called The Witcher just a few days ago. Strangely enough I never heard of it before, however it does sound very promising and this morning I decided to look on thier site only to discover RPG Vault has an article posted up called, The Witcher Sneak Peek #12. Although, as you might expect, the gameplay is slated to have a considerable combat component, the team has made it clear that its intention is to add a compelling story with unexpected twists and turns. Naturally, we are eager to stay abreast of the title and its various aspects. I'm not sure how I missed Sneak Peeks 1 through 11 but anyways.. I hope this is a good one, as we need more SP, RPG's to choose from amongst all those other jobbys.

Gamer's Hell posted up a review for Star Wars: Republic Commando and here is a quote from that article: The gameplay is easy to describe to anyone who has ever played Halo – It's almost identical. Completely linear levels with only one way to complete each objective are mated to a small squad of super commandos (who can't even die). Enemies then spawn at regular intervals along your path, and mayhem ensues. One small innovation that Republic Commando throws at you is the use of squad commands – With one button you can tell your squad to heal up at bacta dispensers (which just happen to exist everywhere you go), plant explosives, breech a door, or take cover, amongst other things. So check on that review.

Gaming Nexus has a hands-on preview set up for Dungeon Lords as they take a play of an early beta of the game. Here's a clip from what Tyler Sager had to say about it: I recently got my hands on the most recent build of Dungeon Lords, a Diablo-esque action RPG that is shaping up to be a very fun romp. Rather than the eye-in-the-sky perspective of most Diablo clones, Dungeon Lords brings the action much closer, with an over-the-shoulder third-person-shooter viewpoint. And even though I was playing a beta with placeholder sounds, rough-around-the-edges visuals, and not-quite-balanced encounters, I found myself having a blast. When the polish and finishing touches are applied, I predict Dungeon Lords will be the cause of many a late night of gaming. Have a look at that preview.
